Vueling ensures the security and confidentiality of your transactions made through the Website or App and takes all necessary precautions to prevent any unauthorised access by third parties, taking into account the state of the art at all times.

We work continuously to fight fraud and identity theft in electronic transactions, using software and systems that help us detect potentially fraudulent behaviour and prevent recurrence thereof. Vueling explicitly reserves the right to reject a request to book and/or purchase tickets or other services if a credit or debit card or other means of payment fails to pass the fraud control and management measures established internally by Vueling at any time. In particular, and merely as an example, being unable to prove that you are the holder of a given credit card or other means of payment if prompted to do so at the check-in desk, or being unable to provide contact details for the card holder in order to make the relevant checks, could lead to a booking being cancelled.

When performing a transaction through your user account, you can ask Vueling to store your card number for future purchases. You card number will be encrypted at all times by means of SSL protocol that offers the highest level of security.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is essential for users to take basic precautions for their own security, and we especially recommend:

  • Never disclose your account username or password to third parties.
  • Change your password regularly and do not use common passwords (123456, qwerty, admin or similar) or which are easy to guess (your date of birth, surname, etc.).
  • Log out and disconnect from your accounts (even social media) to prevent unauthorised access, especially if you connect via a device shared with others.
  • Close the browser window.
